Ingredients
- 1 cup black glutinous rice (black stick rice)
- 4 tbsp white glutinous rice
- 4 cups water
- 2 pandan leaves, folded and knotted
- 1 cup palm sugar (grated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Steps
- Soak rice for at least 4 hours.
- Strain rice and add it to a small pot.
- Add knotted pandan leaves.

Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add 4 cups of cold water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Turn stove down to low (should be simmering).
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring for the last 15 minutes.
- Add sugar and stir until it dissolves.
